Amy Towers is a philanthropist, humanitarian, and business leader dedicated to global health, human rights, and community development. As the founder of the Nduna Foundation, she has led high-impact interventions in crisis zones across Africa, providing critical early funding for initiatives in nutrition, public health, and economic development. Her latest initiative in Zimbabwe combines conservation, food security, and healthcare to create sustainable solutions for local communities. 

In addition to her global humanitarian work, Towers serves as Chair of the Board of Governors at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.  A former banking executive and hedge fund COO, Towers brings strategic leadership and financial acumen to every endeavor she is involved in. She serves on numerous boards, including the International Peace Institute, Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), MANA Nutritive Aid (Chair), and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and has received multiple humanitarian awards in addition to serving as a founding Advisory Board member of The Elders and the former Vice Chair of Human Rights Watch.
