Nkemdilim Ilo is a legal practitioner with experience in public sector accountability mechanisms and community mobilization for development. Driven by a need to see an efficient public sector service delivery, she has and continues to advocate for transparency in how public services are contracted and delivered. Through her work, she had pushed for the adoption and implemention of Open Contracting Data Standards (OCDS) in Nigeria and provided support to Federal, State and regional governments within and outside Nigeria.
Similarly, she has advanced the implementation and compliance of access to information law in Nigeria.

Nkemdilim holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, U.K and an LL.B in Law from the University of Benin, Nigeria. She holds a certification from the Behavioral Insights for Public Policy Program of the Harvared University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Executive Education. She has also been recognized as one of 50 Inspiring Women in Commerce and Contracting 2021 by World Commerce and Contracting.
