Personal Information

Joy has over 9 years of experience in the humanitarian development sector. She has managed social development programs using evidence-based approaches, implementing interventions at community, national, and global policy levels.
An active voice for social issues including Adolescent reproductive health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Social and behavioural change, gender-based violence (GBV), women’s rights, economic governance, youth development, agricultural development and food security.

Her expertise has influenced various programs from governance to social change, significantly impacting communities and policy environments.

Joy has a BA in International Relations and Law, a BSc in International Development & Integration from the University of Saint Joseph Macau, and an MSc in Evidence-based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford.

Joy currently serves as the Programmes Manager at Thoughts and Mace Advisory.
