Andrews Ampomah is a seasoned finance and operations professional with over 15 years of experience managing complex financial projects and ensuring regulatory compliance. His expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting, and grant management across multiple countries, including Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Mali, and The Gambia.
In his recent role at Maddison Pine UK, Andrews managed high-impact projects for the Bank of Ghana in developing a toolkit for regulated financial institutions. He also played a significant role in a project with the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) aimed at building an agile organization. Previously, as the Finance and Administration Coordinator for OSIWA Nigeria, Andrews excelled in financial reporting, grant administration, and coordinating office operations, collaborating closely with program staff, donors, and partners to ensure project success.
Andrews possesses a robust background in financial analysis, team management, and operations coordination. He has a proven track record of working with diverse stakeholders to ensure compliance with donor (OSF, DFID, UNDP, and FORD Foundation) regulations and implementing effective financial management systems.
Andrews holds an IMBA from the Institut Supérieur de Management in Dakar and a BSc in Administration from the University of Ghana. He is also a Certified International Project Manager and Master Financial Controller.
His interests include financial strategy, project management, and organizational development. He has served in advisory capacities and has extensive experience in capacity building and training.
